Wash less, wash delicately
The truth is the more you wash a cotton garment, the faster it wears out. Wash your Clothes delicately by hand or in the most gentle machine cycle. It does not need to be in water for more than 15 minutes. Always wash whites with whites and darks with darks.
Use Detergents Sparingly
While detergents are effective at cleaning, they can also strip away the fabric’s natural qualities. For best results, use a small amount of detergent, and avoid bleach. Never apply detergent directly to the fabric to prevent staining. Dry cleaning is harsh on your clothes—your Desi Darzi piece doesn’t need it!
Air Dry for Longevity
Machine drying can be rough on fine cotton. For the best care, hang or lay your Desi Darzi pieces flat to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, as prolonged exposure can cause colors to fade over time.
Proper Grooming for a Fresh Look
For the best results, iron your Desi Darzi garment while it’s still slightly damp. Use a hot iron, but be gentle around the neck rib area to avoid stretching. To maintain a smooth, fresh appearance, use a lint roller on solid-colored pieces, keeping them looking brand new.
